The diamond is known for being the strongest and most brilliant gemstone in the world.
But what makes it the strongest and brightest in the world?
Diamonds are characterized by being unique and unmatched, meaning they rarely repeat the same characteristics among themselves.
This is rated by the 4Cs: Cut, Clarity, Carats and Cut .
Our diamonds are certified under the strictest parameters stipulated by world authorities, one of them being GIA (Gemological Institute of America) .
The Color of Diamonds
The color refers to the inherent natural tint of white diamonds.
In nature, most diamonds have a slight yellow tint; that's why the more colorless the diamond, the rarer and more expensive it will be.
The industry standard for grading evaluates and assigns a grade to each diamond ranging from the letter "D" (colorless) to "Z" (faint yellow).
The diamond color chart defines them:
- DEF: Without color
- GHIJ: Almost without color
- KLM: Pale yellow
- NOPQR: Very light yellow
- STUVWXYZ: Light Yellow

The Clarity of Diamonds
Clarity is a measure of a diamond's purity and rarity, classified by the visibility of these characteristics under 10x magnification. A stone is classified as flawless if, under 10x magnification, it has no inclusions (internal imperfections) and no visible blemishes (external imperfections).
Diamond clarity chart:
- FL: FL diamonds are perfect (flawless)
- IF: IF diamonds are internally flawless.
- VVS1 VVS2: VVS diamonds (1 and 2) have very very slight inclusions.
- VS1 VS2: VS diamonds (1 and 2) have very slight inclusions.
- SI1 SI2: SI (1 and 2) diamonds have slight inclusions.
- I1 I2 I3: Diamonds I (1, 2 and 3) are imperfect

The carats or carats of Diamonds
Carats , or carat weight , are what define the weight of a diamond, not its size.
A diamond can have a different carat weight without appearing larger, and two diamonds with the same carat weight can have different sizes depending on the depth of the cut. In other words, it's important to remember that carat weight doesn't always indicate size.

The Cut of Diamonds
The most important of the 4Cs, cut , refers to how the diamond's facets interact with light. Symmetry, dimensions, and polish determine it. More than any other factor, the cut determines the stone's beauty.
If a diamond is not cut correctly, it will appear dull even if it has a high color and clarity grade. If a diamond is cut properly, it will reflect and refract light to achieve maximum brilliance and sparkle.
In short, the cut is what determines the quality and brilliance of a diamond. There are three factors that determine a diamond's cut:
Cutting accuracy
The relationship that size and angles have with the different parts of the stone
The precision with which the different facets of the diamond align and intersect
The details and location of the facet shapes, as well as the exterior finish of a diamond. The industry's highest cut grade, triple excellent, is given to a diamond with an "excellent" rating in cutting accuracy, symmetry, and polish.

Diamond shapes
The shape of a diamond is its geometric appearance. Diamond shapes are categorized into two groups: round diamonds and fancy shape diamonds. Round diamonds, also known as round brilliant cuts, are the most common and classic diamond shape. Fancy shape diamonds refer to any shape other than round brilliant.
Fancy shape diamonds are commonly used for other types of jewelry such as charms, earrings, or eternity rings.
